3. Innovations:

i. Speed Sensor simulator to check WSP working during LHB rake
maintenance: A gadget has been developed in house at HYB
depot to check the working of WSP speed sensor without

detaching from speed sensor junction box. With this gadget,
working of the speed sensor and its cable can be checked by
creating a speed signal by simulating dynamic condition during
LHB rake maintenance.

ii. Gadget for cleaning Brake calipers in coaches: Secunderabad
Coaching depot has fabricated Gadget for cleaning of Brake

calipers in LHB coaches during maintenance. With this gadget
and using 20m length of hose pipe, pressurised air passing in main
pipe line of coaches, can be tapped and used for cleaning of
Brake calipers. By this, brake calipers can be cleaned from rust
and dust on train itself to facilitate free movement and avoid
jamming of brake calipers.
