7. CASES OF OVER SPEEDING ACTION TAKEN
During the year 2021-22 there is no case of over speeding by crew.
8. ACTION PLAN TO CURB ACCIDENTS
a) During the year 2021-22, 40 Standard Order Bulletins (SOB) have been
issued for safety working of the trains and all the running crew were
educated / counseled rigorously on safety front.
b) Random checking of Loco Pilot’s Closed User Group (CUG) / Personal
mobile phone status while on duty and Surprise mobile check at en-
route stations at an average of 1204 per month has reduced the
menace of keeping the mobile on.
c) Ambush checks with speed guns done at an average of 186 per month
by TRSO officers and supervisors. This has alerted crew to maintain
speed at CD spots/Loop lines.
d) Energy Speedometer monitoring data downloading and analysis at an
average of 181 per month at all lobbies has been done. This has
identified 05 cases of over speeding (1-2 kmph excess) and counselled.
e) Analysis of speed of trains at caution aspect i.e 30kmph for goods trains
and 60 kmph for passenger trains through data logger reports done on
daily basis.
f) Crew video and voice recording system data is being downloaded
from the locomotives and analysis is being done. Till now 102 no of
CVVRS data downloaded.
9. STAFF OVERDUE REFRESHER, PERIODICAL MEDICAL
EXAMINATION (PME)
No staff on running duty is overdue for Technical, G&SR Refresher
courses and Periodical medical examination (PME).
