Michael - The Humanitarian

Michael Jackson is known throughout the world as the: most
caring humanitarian. It is no secret - the many charities, foun-
dations and acts of love that Michael Jackson has shown
throughout his life, especially for children who are underprivi-
leged and disadvantaged. Michael Jackson's Heal The World
Foundation, was founded in 1992 as a charitable organization
to aid children and the environment. It provides medicine for
children, fights world hunger, drug and alcohol abuse, and
child abuse. Heal The World Foundation works with local and
national organizations, sharing expertise in delivering services
to disadvantaged children throughout the world.
Here are a few of the accomplishments of Heal The World
Foundation:
In 1992:
June Donated $100,000 DM to Children's Hospital in
Rotterdam
July - Donated L. 821,477,296 to La Partita del Cuore (The
Heart Match) in Rome. Donated 120,000 DM to children's chari-
ties in Estonia and Latvia.
September - Donated 1 million pesetas to a charity headed
by the Queen of Spain. Donated children's playground at or-
phanage in Bucharest, Romania.
November - Forty-seven tons of winter relief supplies air-
lifted to children of Sarajevo in association with AmeriCares,
including medical items, blankets, winter clothing and shoes.
December Relief supplies airlifted to children in Bosnia
in association with Operation Christmas Child, consisting of
