Online VRS Brick and Mortar
Traditional businesses, Restaurants, Retail stores, Service type
businesses, any business that a has a location for customers to
visit is what’s known as a Brick-and-Mortar type of business.
The obvious difference in Online VRS Brick and Mortar is
overhead and startup money. Leasing a building is expensive
and is a committed liability for the term of the lease. Then
there’s utilities, inventory, employees, insurance, and lots more.
In today’s world, it’s very hard to start a brick-and-mortar type
business under $50,000. Franchises have a much higher success
rate but most start at over $100,000 on top of the expenses
mentioned earlier. Along with that come all the hours involved
in owning and operating the establishment. It saddens me to
see people who have worked hard all their lives, invest in some
franchise only to give up all their time freedom they worked all
their life to have.
Online businesses are much less expensive to start, usually
avoiding the inventory cost by either drop shipping or selling
digital products which are 100% profit. There is no committed
liability outside of product fulfillment. It’s usually just a website.
If it’s highly profitable you can sell it, or if it’s not, just shut it
down and walk away. The Internet provides a worldwide
marketplace and is producing more millionaires than any
industry in history.
