Lessons
Lessons are timetabled from 9:00 to 13:00 and include a variety of subjects including Quechua,
the ancient Inca language, English, Spanish and Science.
Placement tests
A placement test on arrival will place students in the beginner, intermediate or advanced
explorer group. Do not worry if you have to start at beginner, we all have to start somewhere,
and you will learn quickly!
Levels
Beginner Has never been camping or hiking, cannot set
up a tent.
Intermediate Has camping experience but cannot
independently set up a tent or make a fire
Advanced Can read maps, make a fire and guide a small
team of friends.
