Tell The Enemy to Shut Up!

Shut up, shut up, shut up.
I don’t know about you, but I
say this to the devil on a regular
basis. He tries to sneak his way
into our daily lives and destroy
things or attempt to shut us up.
Yes, you read it right, the
devil tries to shut us up. He doesn’t
want God’s Word or his love to
spread among us. He’s trying to
find ways to stead our voices. The
devil hates for us to speak God’s
Words for life over anything or
anyone.
Proverbs 18:21 says the
tongue has the power of life or
death in it. So according to this,
one should take great care to
watch their words carefully and to
be slow to speak.
We must understand the
power in our speech. There is life
and death in our words. You know
the phrase; he will be eating his
words? If you love to talk, you’ll
eat the fruit of your words.
Words can condemn or
strengthen us. Do you think the
devil doesn’t know all of this? Of
course, he does, and he wants us
to shut up! COVID is a great
example.
One of the things that we
have all experienced over the past
year or so with COVID is seeing the
devil used it to shut the church up.
His message was this virus is so
bad we must close the church
doors. Why did the devil do that?
He took the opportunity to
instill fear into the people,
convincing them to whatever idea
political officials told them to do.
So countless numbers of churches
closed. No services at all meant
that God’s Word wasn’t going out
and the devil had shut us up, or so
he thought.
But God! We all continued to
pray and work the Word, allowing
God to take what the devil tried to
destroy and used it for His good,
not only for His people for those
who were lost as well.
Opportunities for the Word to
go forth opened like unseen before.
Doors opened that hadn’t been
utilized before. Electronic avenues
that few had used suddenly
become golden opportunities for
sharing Gods Word. Thousands of
local churches start having online
services and those services were
touching souls, not just locally, but
around the world. Opportunities to
do more for the Kingdom were
actively pursued. Can’t you just
hear the churches screaming, “you
