basketball, and many other
activities freely.
I know all these things sound
sort of materialistic, but would you
want to go to church in a small
room where you could not do
anything because you’re so
concerned about how loud you
were going to be, the teachers
telling you to be quiet, to calm
down, and so on. I do not think so.
It was not like that all the
time, but honestly it was a lot of
the time. No more of that! The kids
can just be kids and we can dream
about all the activities that we can
do/have over the years.
The kids are excited about
going to church and about inviting
friends. Here are a few of the
things the kids said when asked
what they thought about the new
church.
Kaylee “I like that we have space
to do praise and worship”
Kiptyn “I like the sanctuary and
how big it is, how many people are
in there, and all the spots to sit”
Dante “I like the gym because it
gives us a bigger play area”
Zeke “I like that there’s a gym to
play football, soccer, and
basketball”
Bennett “I like that the church is
big, has a gym we can play in. I
also like playing the electric
Keyboard in the Glow room”
Lil I like how much room we have
and the gym we can play in.”
Victoria” I like to play dodge ball
and kick ball in the big gym and
that we have a ping pong table in
the basement. I also like the sound
effects on the piano.”
As you can see the kids have
lots of things, they like about our
new church home and especially
our Glow space. We are so thankful
and blessed beyond measure. We
serve a good God.
The kids in the church are our
future so it is vitally important to
make sure they have a space to
call theirs and that they are excited
about coming to church. We need
these kids to grow up strong in
their faith able, to stand up against
the things of this world. They are
our future Godly leaders. They are
worth investing time in in whatever
way you feel led.
