Work out
Two things I enjoy doing to stay healthy are working out (running, lifting, sports) and being involved in hobbies throughout the year like fishing, hunting, and kayaking. These activities are great for staying healthy mentally and physically!
My dog also helps keep me moving!

Diet
I make sure I exercise daily, which usually consists of walking about six miles a day. I don’t like sweets, so that’s a plus, but I make sure to limit my carb intake.

Walk
I like to get out and go for a walk daily. I feel that its a great way to relieve stress and spend time in the fresh air and sunshine.

Planks
At my age, I realize how important it is to exercise and watch what foods I eat. I’m so lucky to
enjoy healthy hobbies, like shed hunting or just tromping the woods for mushrooms to get
I feel the best when I eat right and drink lots of water. I recommend doing planks to improve core strength and using a foam roller for stretching.

Protect those baby blues.
Children need to protect their eyes just as much as adults, if not more. UV exposure can harm the eyes and the cumulative effect of UV rays can be very damaging.
Children with blue eyes are at a greater risk for UV damage than children with brown eyes. Especially on days at the beach where there is significant sun exposure, children are at risk for sunburn of the eyes.
Choose sunglasses that block 99 to 100 percent of UVA and UVB rays. Also make sure that the glasses meet the American National Standards Institute’s requirements.

Josh Emery, Human Resources
I really try to keep challenging my body through exercise. After work- ing out, I get a spike in energy that
lasts all day. I’ve gained muscle, strength, and positivity. My advice is to set a goal for yourself. Get out of the house and do something to get a feeling of accomplishment.
