Patient Experience How are we measuring up?
The Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) is a patient satisfaction survey required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for all US hospitals. Patients of Crossing Rivers Health receive the 72 question Press Ganey survey at their home, allowing them to evaluate their healthcare experience. That valuable feedback is then shared and utilized throughout the organization, to make necessary changes.
A few comments from our HCAHPS patient satisfaction survey.
All of the nurses were excellent, I loved the way they treated me. I felt comfortable and well taken care of. I would be glad to have any one of them take care of me again.
