          Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) is pleased to
        announce Nishant Patel, M.D., a cardiothoracic surgeon, has
        opened his Tenet Florida Cardiovascular Care practice in Palm
        Beach Gardens. Dr. Patel is on staff at Palm Beach Gardens
        Medical Center and is a member of the Tenet Florida Heart &
        Vascular Network. Dr. Patel’s work experience included being
        Chief Resident in the Department of Surgery, Divisions of  Dr. Nishant Patel
        Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in
        Baltimore, MD.  Dr. Patel completed a Halsted residency in the department of surgery as
        well as graduated medical school at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr.
        Patel also served as the Howard Hughes Institute Research Fellow at the McKusick-
        Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of
        Medicine. In 2015, Dr. Patel was trained in Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement
        (TAVR) Fundamental for Fellows with Medtronic. He completed the Edwards
        Lifesciences TAVR Foundations for Fellows Course, finished the Atrial Fibrillation
        Advanced Course with Atricure and completed a course in Minimally Invasive Cardiac
        Surgery with Edwards Lifesciences. Dr. Patel has also completed extensive studies in
        Marfan Syndrome, valve-sparing aortic root operations and surgery for heart failure.
