Larry Antonucci, M.D., Named Baptist Health Names Leaders to New Positions
Lee Health President/CEO Within Clinical Enterprise Division
The Lee Health Board of Directors has chosen Larry
Antonucci, M.D., to succeed Jim Nathan as President/CEO of
the health system. Dr. Antonucci has served as system Chief
Operating Officer since 2011. He also served as Chief
Administrative Officer for Cape Coral Hospital. Prior to joining
Lee Health in 2007, Dr. Antonucci was a practicing obstetrician
and gynecologist. In 1983, he co-founded Physicians Primary Dr. Larry Antonucci
Care and served as its chief executive officer for many years.

Dr. Daneshmand currently serves as System Medical
Director of Pediatric Clinical and Quality Services at
Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. Since
joining the hospital in 2007, Dr. Daneshmand has served as
a physician in the pediatric intensive care unit, medical
director of the pediatric procedural sedation center, com-
mittee member of the oversight system medical staff quality Alex Greenwood
services committee and as chairman of the pediatric med-
ical staff quality committee.
Alex Greenwood currently serves as Orthopedic Service Line Director for Lee
Health. He will continue in that role along with his recent promotion to Vice
President of Lee Health – Coconut Point. Greenwood has been employed by Lee
Health since 2006. In addition to his leadership role with Orthopedics, Greenwood
also served as System Director of Operations at Gulf Coast Medical Center and Cape
Coral Hospital.
