a congenital heart surgeon,
to Nicklaus Children’s
Hospital. Prior to joining the
Heart Program, she was the
Surgical Director of Pediatric
Cardiac Transplantation at
Children’s Medical Center/UT
Southwestern Medical Center
in Dallas, where she also served
as Surgical Director of Adult
Congenital Heart Surgery.
A Harvard College graduate,
Dr. Guleserian earned her
medical degree from Boston
University School of Medicine.
She completed her general
surgery residency at Brown
University Alpert Medical
School/Rhode Island Hospital
in Providence and her thoracic
surgery residency at Washington
University School of Medicine/
Barnes-Jewish Hospital in
St. Louis, Missouri. A Boston
native, Dr. Guleserian returned to
her hometown for her congenital
heart surgery fellowship at
Harvard Medical School/Boston
Children’s Hospital where she
also completed fellowships in
cardiovascular tissue engineering
