Recognize Academic Excellence in
Healthcare Administration Education
Florida Atlantic University is pleased to announce the
establishment of a chapter of Upsilon Phi Delta, a national
academic honor society for students in health management
and policy. Dr. Alan Whiteman, Associate Program Director
stated “The Health Management programs at Florida
Atlantic University are pleased to have our students receive
this prestigious recognition for their academic accomplish-
ments.” Membership in Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society is
open to individuals who meet the national and local stan-
dards of this organization and are accepted and initiated into
membership of a collegiate chapter. In order to be eligible
for induction, Bachelor of Health Science students must
have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale
and 18 hours of work after officially declaring a healthcare Dr. Alan Whiteman
