Kweku Ansah: Goal-scoring attacking midfielder that is a key link between the forward line and the rest of the team. In his
third season at Phoenix now and is a well-liked member of the club.
Andrew Dythe: Progressed from the Reserves after some outstanding performances last year. This young left-back has his
future ahead of him and it will be great to see him get even more First Team minutes this season.
Ollie Andrews: Another that came through last season’s Reserve Team to get game time for the First at the back end of the
last campaign. This centre-midfielder is composed, tough-tackling and has the eye to spot the perfect pass.
Connor McGrady: Young centre-back that was new to the club last season. Previously at Bromley Connor will be trying to
impress when he gets the opportunity this year. Has been injured for most of the season, but is now back playing and
looking to regain a spot in the team.
James Dyer: Young attacking player that has broken into the First Team squad this year. His two goals at Burgess Hill Town
plus other top performances have shown that James could definitely have a future in the game.
Michael Aziaya: Utility player who started at Orpington before moving onto Watford and then Dartford. He lists career
high point thus far as facing Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup whilst at Dartford. Previously he played for Thamesmead,
Romford, Eastbourne Borough and Dartford, but will be better known to Isthmian League watchers from his time at
Hastings United and Carshalton Athletic- he was a big part of the Robins squad that earned promotion from the South
Division in 2017-18. He also spent time at Ramsgate and Three Bridges last season and is looking forward to his career this
season with us here at Phoenix Sports.
Ainsley Everett: Midfielder Ainsley joins us from local rivals VCD and had only been with them for a short time, making four
appearances after arriving from Sittingbourne. That was only two of the clubs he played for last season, as he also turned
out for Tooting and Mitcham United and Sevenoaks Town. He started last season with Oaks, and played for them in 2018-
19 too. Prior to that he turned out for Cray Valley PM, East Grinstead Town, Thamesmead Town and Peacehaven &
Telscombe.
Alex Gaggin: Another player to join as from VCD Alex is well known to all at Phoenix following his strong performances
against us in recent derby games. He made 29 appearances for the Vickers last term, scoring 5 times and is a player that we
have all admired for a long time now. Alex, a tricky and pacey winger joins a strong squad that is looking forward to the
2020/21 season.
