Celebration of 15th August
It was 15th August, our Independence
day. Mohan and Radhika think
to celebrate the day differently.
They started getting things ready
for the party. They invited their
cousins, aunts and uncles.
“What can we do for the party?”
asked Mohan.
“We can decorate the house!” said Radhika excitedly. “I know! Let’s paint a
picture of our family.”
“Papa is the eldest. So, we should paint him first. Then, we would paint
uncles, mother and aunties,” said Mohan.
“I’ll get the paper and paint. Then, we should change clothes, so that we do
not spill paint on our good clothes”, said Radhika.
“Good idea. Let’s go!”, said Mohan.
Radhika and Mohan ran to get things ready. They were laying out the
paints when Mohan had an idea.
“Since today is Independence Day, let’s paint everyone using the colours of
our flag!” said Mohan.
