Time and Tide Wait for None

There is a well said proverb ‘Time and Tide wait for none’. Time plays a

vital role in the life of a man. All the natural processes depend upon time.

Time is very important for us. We should utilize time wisely. It never waits

for anyone. We can also say that time once lost is lost forever.

One day, the king of a forest organized a party. He invited all the animals.

A fox and a bear were also invited to the party.

The bear said to the fox, “You walk very

fast, there is sufficient time for the

party to start. Therefore, there is no

need to hurry. We can walk at

leisure.” The bear lay under a

tree for rest.

On the other side, the fox

moved on and reached the
party on time. When the

bear got up it had been

very late. He ran fast but

by the time he reached

there, the party was over.
