2. Read the given passage and answer the questions that follow :
My Daily Routine
I always get up at seven o’clock. On weekdays I take a quick shower. Then I eat my
breakfast. I usually eat chapati and sabji. Sometimes, I have a bowl of cereal.
Everyday, I drink a glass of milk. I also remember to feed the cat and water the
two plants in our balcony. My school bus comes at quarter to eight. The classes
start at eight and school gets over at half past two in the afternoon. I have some
snacks at school during break. At lunch time, I usually eat rice and dal at home.
Our family has dinner together at seven o’clock in the evening. Later, I do my
homework and go to bed. I go to bed at nine o’clock.

1. Read the given passage : Critical Thinking
Australia
Australia is an island. It is surrounded by the Sea Haven, as it is large in
size, it is called a continent. It has long sandy beaches, grassy farmland and
high mountains. It also has vast deserts and forests.
Australia is famous for sheep rearing. There are millions of sheep all
over the country. These sheep are bred for their meat and wool. There are
also many large cattle farms in Australia. Kangaroos live in Australia too.
These animals are native to Australia. The mother kangaroo carries her
young one in her pouch. Kangaroos can run very fast because they have
powerful hind legs.
Like kangaroos, koalas can only be found in Australia. These animals
are very quiet and they live in gum trees. They seldom climb down from
their trees. Koala babies cling on to their mothers’ bodies. They also ride on
their mothers’ back.
