when the peacock spreads its tail, the tail resembles a major bright fan. It makes

it even more beautiful and when it comes to charm. Peacock is the charming bird

than all other birds. It is one of the most beautiful creations of God.

On seeing the dark clouds, peacock outspreads its tail and starts dancing in

rhythmic fashion.

4. Summer Vacation

The summer holidays give us a lot of time to relax and rest. For me, summer

holidays mean spending time with my grandma, who lives in a village called

Shamli. In the village, there is a huge open space with trees all around. My

favourite tree is a neem tree. Granny has a cot under this tree. I take a pillow, a

couple of books and lay down. One day, I was deep in thought when heard

someone flutter and hop from branch to branch. I looked up towards the

branches of the tree. I spotted a mynah who looked at me and made a shrill cry...

then hopped another one. The notorious pair wanted to make a home. They saw

a hole in the trunk and were happy to live with each other.

After a few days, the mother bird laid four green eggs with tiny smear of

brown. Once the eggs hatched, both parent were seen feeding the babies. The
