Honey : We get honey from honey bees. Honey is sweet in taste. Eating

honey is good for health. Candle wax is also obtained from beehives.

Animals give us Clothing

Wool : We get wool from the sheep
and other animals like goat. Wool is used

to make sweaters, mufflers, etc.

Silk : We get silk from silkworms.
It is a fine soft fibre that is used to

make silk clothes.

Leather : The skin of dead animals like snakes, crocodiles, buffaloes and
camels is used as leather. Leather is used to make jackets, shoes, bags, belts

and many more things.

Animals as Means of Transport

Animals like elephants, horses,
oxen, camels and donkeys are used to

carry loads for us. They are called beasts
of burden. They make our work easier.
