The Iron Box
Honesty is the best policy. It is a great virtue of a man. An honest person is always respected
everywhere. Speaking truth, to accept own mistakes, helping the poor, etc. are the different
forms of honesty. Honesty is always rewarded while a dishonest person is always disliked by
everyone and everywhere. So we should be honest in our work, behaviour, etc.

rich businessman. When his
father died, Shankar Das was
left with an iron box with
valuables in it. One day,
Shankar Das has to go
to the city on some
work. So, he took the
iron box and handed it
over to his money–
lender friend. His name
was Praveen.
