     A Hot Day
The Sun shines brightly on a hot day.
This makes the air very warm. We wear
light cotton clothes to keep our bodies
cool. We use fans, coolers and air
conditioners to keep ourselves cool during
a hot day. We drink lots of water. We like
to eat ice-cream on a hot day. Avoid too
much soft drinks and ice-cream. They are
            harmful for our health.
                                                        A Cold Day
Some days of the year are very cold. It
snows in some places. We wear woollen
clothes like sweaters and coats to keep
ourselves warm. We like to drink hot tea
and coffee. We also use heaters or light
                                                        bonfires to keep ourselves warm.
            A Windy Day
On some days, the wind blows very
fast. A strong wind can blow things away
to far-off places. A windy day may be hot
            or cold.
                                                    CAN YOU BELIEVE ?
! Strong, gusty, hot and dry summer wind is called Loo.
! A cold wave is called Sheet Lahar in Hindi.
