The jealous monk, worried about losing his comfort and respect, hatched a

plan to get rid of the new monk. He tried to tarnish the new monk's reputation by
falsely claiming he was lazy and couldn't wake up in the morning.

The jealous monk's jealousy grew, and he even threw away food meant for

the new monk. The wise monk sensed the jealousy and left the village quietly

while the jealous monk was away.

Realising his mistake, the jealous monk felt remorseful and gave up his

negative feelings. He prayed for forgiveness from God.

Jealousy can lead to harmful actions and regret, hurting both the jealous person and
those around them. It's better to appreciate others' success and be content with what
