                         Over the past 20 years Chris has created
                         advertising for everything from finance to
                         fashion to cars to computers. Beginning as
                         a copywriter in NYC, Chris worked at Lowe
                         and Partners, as well as Kirshenbaum and
                         Bond, before landing at Ammirati & Puris.
                         While at Ammirati, Chris helped launch
                         several products for Compaq Computer,
                         applying consumer sensibility to what had previously been a technical
                         marketplace. Bitten by the technology bug, Chris then headed to FCB in San
                         Francisco. There he helped launch Excite.com and Amazon.com, being among
                         the first to use splashy TV efforts to get attention for these then-tiny companies.

                             For Palm Computing’s inaugural television effort, he showed how a PDA
                         could introduce strangers on a train by ‘beaming’ contact information. Moving
                         to Citron Haligman Bedecarre (now AKQA) for the height of the internet boom,
                         Chris continued promoting internet companies – including one founded by his
                         wife – using pioneering tactics such as planting models in first class using the
                         latest laptop to interactive billboards beaming applications and invitations to
                         Palm users. At Publicis and Hal Riney, Chris created demand for HP printers and
                         inks by opening a temporary art gallery where consumers could print and mount
                         their photos. The results and the stories around them became the backbone of
                         an innovative half-hour programme on how to print – an ‘educational
                         informercial’.

                             Chris’s work has earned recognition from industry publications and shows
                         such as Communication Arts, The One Show, Adweek, ECHO, The SF Show and
                         Graphis. He has been with Ogilvy for five years now, where he applies his
                         expertise to the IBM account.
