Greg is also very active in the local community in fundraising as well as supporting all law enforcement. In 2019, Greg was honored to be awarded the Silver Life Membership Card from the Woobdridge P.B.A.local 37, which is only given out twice a year by the N.J. State P.B.A. Since becoming a licensed funeral director in 1997, Greg has served the needs of the families he serves with dignity and trust that his parents have instilled in him since his birth.
Greg and his wife Tania are local residents with their three children. They enjoy hunting, fishing, attempting to play golf, the Jersey Shore and in the cold months enjoy visiting Florida.

Gary graduated from
Carteret High School in
1974, he continued his education at American Academy of McAllister Institute of Funeral Services Inc. in New York in 1977. Gary has been a director with the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home for over 20 years, and since January 1998 has been the manager\owner.
Born in Perth Amboy, he later moved to Sewaren and then to Carteret with his family where he was raised. Gary began his career at the Rumpf Funeral Home in Carteret with his father and later as associated with Uncle Gus at Novak’s. He then later married his wife Joan were they raised their three children in Carteret and Perth Amboy.
Gary was past president of the Middlesex- Somerset County Funeral Directors Association, past president of the Perth Amboy Chamber of Commerce, Past president of the Carteret Honorary PBA, member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Father Carey Council No.1280, Carteret, a member of the Disable Life Carteret Volunteer Fire Department, New Jersey Exempt Fireman’s Association and New Jersey State Fireman’s Association and a fourth degree and advocate of the Knights of Columbus San Salvador Council No. 299, Perth Amboy and a board member of Perth Amboy Catholic. Gary is a parishioner and member of the Holy Name Society and Good Shepard Parish at Holy Spirit Church, and a member of the Puerto Rican Association for Human Development in Perth Amboy.
