Compehension questions
Task 1
• The teacher asks students to read the text silently, independently. The
teacher asks about new vocabulary for students.
• The teacher guides students to understand the text through questions
about the main idea for each paragraph
Task 2
• After making sure that the students understand the text, the teacher
asks them to work in pairs. Students look for the appropriate vocabulary
in the text to describe the characters and settings. After that, the
teacher guides a class discussion about the results of students working in
pairs.
Task 3
• The teacher assigns students to work on Task 3 independently, then in
pairs, and finally together in class. The teacher gives examples of doing
verbs and thinking verbs.
Task 4
• This activity is intended to develop students' creativity. The teacher gives
some examples about making interrogative sentences
