Problematic

When a spill of hydrocarbons such as gasoline, oils or some

chemicals occurs, the use of hydrocarbons absorbent is needed to

suck out this elements from the ground or water.

Most of the common hydrocarbon absorbers sink easily, they aren’t

organic, nor ecologic. The hydrocarbons absorbers may help with the

absorption of these elements, but they can leave side effects in the

absorption site.

Solution

The creation of the first hydrocarbon absorbent created in Colombia, it is made

with the leftovers of pine wood discarded by timber. It is called Biosorbent and

it is ecological, organic, free of chemicals, biodegradable and is not carcinogenic.

Also this product is oleic and hydrophobic.

Biosorbent promotes the care, protection and preservation of the environment.

Solution

This product, in addition to being much more economical than common

hydrocarbon absorbers, is much more efficient and is environmentally

friendly.

If in case of emergency this product is to used, it is much more efficient

and effective than most products with the same purpose.
