Prophet Muhammad SAW then sent someone to call Zainab
bin Al Harist.
Zainab presented herself before Prophet Muhammad SAW.

“Did you poison the lamb?” asked the Prophet.
Zainab’s face turned pale. She was socked and said, “Who
told you that?”
The Prophet answered, “The lamb’s thighs told me.”

Knowing that she could no longer lie, Zainab finally confess
what she had done. She said, “Yes, I poisoned the lamb.”
“What is your reason?” asked the Prophet.
Zainab didn’t say words. In the deep heart she thought, “He
manage to get away from the poison because he is really a
Prophet. If he wasn’t a Prophet, he would die and we would
be free from him.”

Even though Zainab didn’t say a single word, Prophet
Muhammad SAW knew what she was thinking. The Prophet
forgave Zainab for confessing what she had done. Then, the
Prophet let her go home.

Moral of The Story
Once in a while, people do something that doesn’t please
you. Just like Zainab who had the bad intention for Prophet
Muhammad SAW. Despite of her ever to poison him,
Prophet Muhammad SAW forgeve Zainab. You can do the

same, forgiving other people is a good attitude. So, let’s do it
from now
