After that, Prophet Muhammad SAW got up and went to find some fire
woods. The companions did their own task. Because of the teamwork,
dinner could be served in the short time
The companions were so amazed by Prophet Muhammad SAW’s
attitude. He was a leader, but he didn’t hesitate to do the hard work.
Some others leader would think that looking for fire wood was a
humiliating job to do. The prophet humbleness really touch the heart of
his companions.
The humbleness of the prophet was also witnessed by his wife, Aisyah.
Prophet Muhammad SAW fixed his own shoes, sewed his own clothes,
carried water and milked the sheep. He never hesitated to do things that
might be useful for others.
Moral of the story:
Prophet Muhammad SAW gives an example to be always humble. He
was a leader but he never hesitated to do the housework or other jobs
that were considered as rough job by other people. He was very
handily and his humbleness should be followed.
