Forgiving

Seven years after the Hijrah Khaibar war began. Khaibar was
a Jews village. The war couldn’t be prevented from

happening because the Jews broke the peace agreement.
Prophet Muhammad SAW went to the war with his 1400
companions. It was a tough war because the Jews built strong
fortresses. It was very hard to break the fortresses and the
Jews were hard to be conquered.

Finally, Prophet Muhammad SAW, the leader of the Moslem
troops was succeeded to end the war. After winning the
battle, the Prophet took a rest. A Jews woman, Zainab bin Al
Harits gave him a present. She gave a lamb and made it into
a rolled lamb.

“Which part of the lamb that’s Prophet Muhammad SAW like
the most?” asked the woman to the companions.
“He loves thigh the most,” answered one of the companions.

Apparently, Zainab had a bed intention. She wanted revenge

because her husband, Salam Ibn Misykam died in the battle
field. Zainab poured the poisonous powder onto the meat
especially on the thigh. Later on, the rolled lamb was served
to Prophet Muhammad SAW and his companions.

After an exhausting war, everybody was so excited to eat the

rolled lamb. The Prophet took the meat of the thigh and ate
it. But only seconds after chewing it, he spued the meat out.

“What’s going on Prophet? Why did you spewed the meat
out?” asked the companions.

“Don’t eat the meat!” cried Prophet Muhammad SAW to
prevent his companions from eating the lamb, but it was too
