ANSYS
If you’ve ever seen a rocket launch, flown on an airplane, driven a car, used a computer, touched a mobile device, crossed a bridge, or put on
wearable technology, chances are you’ve used a product where ANSYS software played a critical role in its creation. ANSYS is the global leader
in engineering simulation. We help the world’s most innovative companies deliver radically better products to their customers. By offering the
best and broadest portfolio of engineering simulation software, we help them solve the most complex design challenges and engineer products
limited only by imagination. Visit us at www.ansys.com
TTC TECHNOLOGIES
TTC Technologies® was incorporated in the State of New York in 1993, as an innovative engineering software development and consulting firm.
The company has been a US Department of Defense (DoD) contractor continuously for more than 20 years, with over 25 major projects from the
US Air Force and US Navy on engineering modeling and simulation tools development. The focus areas include components and systems
thermal management, hypersonic flight vehicles design, propulsion and combustion, jet noise, and multidisciplinary design and optimization
(MDO).
INSTED®, the first commercial software product developed by TTC was launched in 1995. It is an analysis software workbench for general
thermal systems, integrated into a focus on performance analysis, multiple-rating, sizing, and optimizing of advanced heat exchangers: Plate-Fin,
Plate-Frame, Manifolds-Microchannels, Shell and Tubes, Concentric Tubes, and others. A module of INSTED® is currently being adapted for
modern, advanced, 3D-printed heat exchangers. The ease-of-use of INSTED® is at the level of Microsoft Word. The software comes with a huge
database, of which REFPROP is an optional component, for on-the-fly access to single-phase and two-phase thermo-physical properties.
INSTED® supports 37 two-phase-flow heat-transfer models.
Organizations using INSTED® include Boeing, ATK-Ametek-Hughes Treitler, General Electric Power Systems, Lockhart Industries, Siemens
Westinghouse, Korea Institute of Energy Research (Korea), LG Cable (Korea), Subros (India), United Technologies Corporation, Champ Products
(Alfa-Laval), Rockwell Automation, Assembly Ingenieros (Spain), among others. INSTED® is also being used by many academic institutions.
TTC also developed the AEROFLO™ multi-disciplinary CFD software. The niche for AEROFLO™ includes problems that require unsteady,
high-order, high-fidelity solutions, such as aeroacoustics and combustion in arbitrary complex geometries. iSCRIPT™, also developed by TTC, is
for simulating any type of engineering components, subsystems, and systems; using an advanced scripting language. The niche for iSCRIPT™ is
the optimization of advanced, large-scale engineering systems that pose difficulties for the common system-level optimization programs.
