SATURDAY – MARCH 22 - Head home til next time!

CAUTION: At least 1 person should stay in your room until you are ready to completely
         check-out around 11am
Here’s why: we have had reports of the My Disney Experience phone app noting that guests are
far away from their room (even in the parking lot) on check-out day and automatically checking the
guests out. Cleaning services come in and take the luggage “somewhere” – usually storage with
guest services (not bell services) but they just assume people are gone. It’s an automatic thing.
Then guests have a time getting their luggage and all of their stuff is not there – just take luggage
         with you when you leave!

SO… do one of these three things
             1. Ask for late checkout at the front desk – hard to get during spring break weeks
             2. Ask Bell Services to hold your luggage until you’re ready to head to the train and be sure to
allow enough time to collect the luggage before heading out – also tip Bell Services cast
                 member
             3. Take your luggage with you -- not fun

*we have to do the same thing the day we fly out on March 27*

         11:00am – CHECKOUT

Enjoy the resort, take a nap in a pool chair, whatever works …

By 12:00 noon (fine to do it earlier – you can shop!)
          - Head on over to Boardwalk and enjoy lunch at The Cake Bake Shop – it’s sooo pretty in there!!

LUNCH 1:45 Reservation at The Cake Bake Shop, Boardwalk

How to get to Boardwalk from Port Orleans Riverside
             1. Lyft – takes much less time - $
             2. Ride the bus to Hollywood Studios, then…
 Take the boat from HS to Boardwalk – it takes you directly to Boardwalk and it’s a
leisurely, peaceful ride – if you have time to kill it is definitely worth it but give yourself
plenty of time in case you have to wait for the bus and/or the boat
 Take the Skyliner to EPCOT from HS and walk over the bridge toward Boardwalk – ask
a Cast Member if you don’t see it – it’s a short walk and lovely

You can also check out the shops on Boardwalk, in the resorts nearby – Boardwalk Inn, Yacht Club,
Beach Club – it’s all fun!

Head back to Port Orleans when ready to collect your luggage and head to the train

         Safe travels home!!
