TIPS AND NOTES
FOOD
All rooms have a coffee / tea maker and a mini frig in the room. If you run out of coffee/tea let front
desk know and they will bring more for you. Add ice from resort in bags to keep milk really cold or
keep in your cooler with ice.
Breakfast
• Eat breakfast in the room UNLESS you have a character breakfast scheduled – it saves a ton
of time
• If you don’t take or order groceries for breakfast – pick up something in the food court the night
before
• There is a ton of food at the parks everywhere so you will not be hungry
Lunch & Dinner
• You will usually be in the parks for these meals
• If you have a table reservation, be there about 15 minutes early to check in
• Cancel any reservation you will not use at least 2 hours before the reservation time
• If you would like to eat at a particular restaurant – check the phone app for walk-up times or
just stop by and see if there is availability – with the 2 hour cancellation there often is…
• I have been seated as much as an hour early for a reservation – so if you get there really early
– just ask
• No table service reservation? – there are plenty of quick service restaurants where you order
at a counter OR mobile order from your phone app and pick up the food (this is quicker
usually)
• Adults can order kid’s meals from quick service eateries
• Adult portions are often enough to share – think nachos
PRO TIP: You can walk up to ANY TABLE SERVICE hostess desk and ask to make or cancel a
reservation. Sometimes that’s just the quickest option.
Snacks
Of course, Disney has amazing snacks everywhere but little ones (and even big ones) get hangry and
may not want to wait in a line for a snack.
• Take snacks that are not super heavy and will not melt in the parks in your backpack – peanut
butter/crackers (nabs), goldfish, protein bars, cereal bars, that sort of thing.
Order Groceries with Instacart or with Garden Grocer
• This process is totally easy - contact me and I can email instructions
WATER
• Take a case of water with you if driving, if not – order grocery delivery with a case of water
• Take a water bottle in the parks in your backpack – you cannot take ice or glass in the parks
• Water is free in Disney World if you know where to get it
o Quick Service restaurants -- just ask or go to the self-service space
• Water fountains near restrooms
