Rooftight

Characteristics:
• High quality synthetic rubber sealant for expansion and connection
joints specifically for pitched and flat roofs
• High elasticity
• UV and weather resistant
• Silicone-free
• Bitumen compatible
• Excellent mould resistance
Applications:
• Excellent adhesion on a range of surfaces such as wood, glass,
concrete, plastics and metal e.g. titan-zinc constructions, drains and
gutters and chimney surrounds
• Also suitable for wet and slightly oily surfaces
Processing instructions:
• Surfaces have to be clean and stable
• Smooth surfaces may be wet, open-pored surfaces must be dry
• If material is exposed to water for a long time it might yellow slightly,
this does not effect the quality
• For extreme conditions and in case of plastics, treat with silicone
primer
• Not suitable to seal glass
• Carry out a test if using standard colours and varnishes
NOTE:
• Optical impairment in case of direct application on cutting edge of
bitumenline possible

Bitumen Sealant

Characteristics:
• Plasto-elastic 1-component sealant based on bitumen. Suitable
for sealings and stickings in the exterior area.
• Very strong adhesion on bituminous substrates, masonry,
concrete, asphaltic products and metals
• Usable on the water and underwater, excellent weather resistant
• For the repair of bituminous roof substrates, overlappings and
impacts of roof sheetings as well as roof breakthroughs
• Solvent-containing
Operating instructions:
• Surfaces to treated must be clean and free of dust
• Make contact tests, if necessary

Thermical stability: -35°C to +130°C hardened
Processing temperature: +1°C to +30°C
Skin formation: within 20 mins
Rain-proof: immediately
Volume decrease: approx. 10 %
Shelf life: 1 year in closed package when storing
