Laura Evans joined The Walt Disney Company in October 2018 as SVP, Data
for Disney Streaming Services (DSS); a business unit within the company’s
Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) segment.
Laura is responsible for overseeing analytics, data science, and insight
capabilities for the company’s portfolio of direct-to-consumer services including
ESPN+ and the upcoming Disney+ streaming service.
Prior to joining Disney, Laura served as SVP, Data & Insights at The New York
Times Company where she led data science, analytics, and data operations
across the organization. She’s also held leadership positions at major media
organizations including Scripps Network Interactive, The Washington Post and
Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal.
LAURA EVANS Laura holds a Ph.D. in Political Science with a concentration in Quantitative
Methods from George Washington University.
