Climbing Mount Merapi Title

Two days ago I went to Mount Merapi. It was my first time
going on a hike to the mountain. I did it with my friends. We

started our hike at 8pm. It was pitch black and we only used our Orientation

flashlights to find the hiking trail. I'm not worried because my
friends are professional climbers. I just followed their

instructions.

We hiked slowly and enjoyed our time there. After 7 hours

of traveling up the mountain, we finally arrived at the top of the

mountain. The clock shows 3 in the morning. Turns out we Event 1
weren't alone. There were many people who had reached the top

of the mountain before we came. We waited for the sun to rise
while cooking food and also making hot drinks to restore our

energy.

We also sang some songs together, exchanged stories and got
aquainted with new people there. After seeing the sunrise, we Event 2

had to get back home. Going down the mountain is not as
difficult as climbing, we just need a little energy and time but we

have to do it carefully.

I really enjoyed this journey of climbing a mountain. It was a
great and memorable experience that I had. I would surrely do Reorientation
this again next time.
