RELAY TESTING KIT

Objective: - To Check the
healthiness and working of 750V

MMR of LHB AC Coaches.
MMR relay protects entire coach
power circuit from under
voltage, over voltage, Single
phase/Phase reversal,
unbalanced voltage.
Expenditure incurred: This is completely designed by

department staff with approx cost of Rs. 30,000/-

(a) HOG Test-kit for Non-AC coaches:

 After the induction of HOG trains; whenever the TL
coaches needs to be checked in HOG/EOG working, a

HOG compliant LOCO or power car was needed.
 This involves lot of shunting and wastage of manpower

and loco. To avoid this, a portable kit has been
developed departmentally which will act as a substitute

for HOG Compliant LOCO/power car for testing
purposes under unwired sections/depots/sheds.

 Moveable trolley will carry extend cable and 02 nos.
female couplers in opposite ends for input & output of

750V.
