Clove Hitch
The Clove Hitch is one of the most useful knots around. It is great for
adjusting stage curtains, or by attaching boat fenders to the railing. It is
quite versatile, but you have to be mindful about binding and slipping as it’s
not the most reliable one when it comes to those two. You can have it mixed
with half hitches, as well.

Instructions:
1. Let the end of the rope pass around the pole.
2. Continue to do so until you reach the standing end, and do it again
another time around the pole.
3. Finally, make sure to thread the end of the rope under itself and
then pull it tightly so you could create this knot.
