Running Bowline

This knot is perfect for retrieval when the item is against a branch—which
could not easily be done when you have a long, straight rope with you.
Choose a light, retrievable line for this—or just work your way around your
                rope.

                Instructions:

                      1. First, let the rope pass through the pole so you could form a loop
                          with its tail.

                       2. Let the short end of the rope pass through the standing end and then
all the way through the loop itself.
                       3. Pull it back again so the bowline could be formed, and then pull the
standing end up to complete the process.
