Promoting or spreading awareness of the
situation helps a lot to those poor street dogs.
Millions of stray dogs live on the streets all over
the world. You can’t help all of them, so you can
at least, take care of the dogs in your locality,
community, or society and treat them well. It’s
only going to be possible if we work together, and
contribute as much as we can to help.

Best Friends Forever
This happened a few months later after the Giant Peach landed in New York. The
Centipede was the Vice-President in-charge of sales of a high class firm of boot and shoe
manufacturers. While the Earthworm, with his lovely pink, was employed by a company
that made women’s face creams to represent the company in commercials on television.
One day, the Centipede was walking down the street talking to someone on the phone. He
wasn’t looking where he was going. He accidentally ended up in an underground research
centre. There, he saw a big hole. Perplexed at the sudden change of scenery, he peered
into the hole. The hole’s purpose was to research underground plants and fossils. The
Centipede was looking at the plants, when he suddenly slipped. The Earthworm was
passing by and when he saw the Centipede was going to fall down the hole he started
laughing. Suddenly, he realized that Centipede would die if not helped. He hated him, yes,
but he didn’t want him dead. He rushed over and caught the Centipede by one of his
boots and hauled him aside. The Centipede was thankful for the Earthworm because he
saved him. Then, he said reluctantly, “I hated you, yes, but not anymore. This is because
you proved to be a loyal friend. ” The Earthworm replied by saying, “I always liked your
jokes! I kind of hated you because I was a worrying wreck. ” Thus, the two agreed to be
BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!
