Favourite Part: My favourite part in this book was when they put on the clothes that
they didn’t own. When they came out, right out the door the family who actually owned
the clothes saw them in their clothes. That is what I call instant karma.
My opinion: This book is very fun and interesting to read but they should add more
funny parts and some bigger problems rather than just losing the suitcase and all
those trivial problems.

Name of book: Journey to the Center of the Earth
Author: Jules Verne
The Journey to the Center of the Earth is a famous novel
written by Jules Verne in the 1850’s. The book is mostly
about a boy with his uncle and a tour guide trying to go to
the middle of the earth from Mount Sneffels from
Reykjavík, Iceland.
In the book, James is sitting in his room when his uncle,
who's a scientist, comes into the room and tells James that
he found an old book by the infamous explorer. James
thinks that this book is fake until he notices the date it was
written: 1679.The book was a jumble of words. The words would later tell the location
from where they could go to the middle of the earth. James’s uncle tried every normal
and scientific way to decode the text. Despite his best efforts, he could not find he
secret message that was hidden amongst the text. When he fell asleep, James tried to
decode the text himself. The text was written in reverse order. But James did not
reveal this to his uncle because he wanted his uncle to find out for himself. After his
uncle woke up, he tried to find the hidden message again. When his uncle was able to
decode the secret message. James’s uncle realized that the code was written in
Icelandic.
This is the place where you can go to the middle of the Earth.
