If anyone in the NJC Community would like to share memories or photographs of their time with Leonard Wilde, we would accept these with great pleasure. We will forever be grateful to Mr. Wilde for envisioning our extraordinary school, and for taking the initiative to help Canadian students step outside of their comfort zones over 60 years ago. A heartfelt thank you to all members of our community, without whom we never would have found the resting place of Leonard Wilde. Special thanks to James Carr ’62 for inspiring the search and for important clues shared by Suzanne Eakin ’61, Alan Goldbloom ’66 and Kim Graybiel ’66. A huge tip of the hat to CAC member, Robin Smith ’78 for his commitment to the genealogical research. Robin volunteered countless hours and his commitment paid off. He found and collected a significant archive of documents, which ultimately led him to correspond with Charles Jeremy Webb. Mr. Webb helped refine the details of the Wilde family and ultimately the finding of Leonard’s last resting place in Manchester along side his mother and father. Thank you Robin for helping NJC to find Mr. Wilde so fittingly in our 60th Anniversary year.
