Upcoming Alumni Events
Fête again like you did before at NJC’s Homecoming 2017!
Homecoming
All alumni and friends—including those from the graduating classes ending in “3” or “8” who are celebrating milestone anniversaries—are invited to Neuchâtel to celebrate Homecoming and Fête des Vendanges in September 2017 (September 22- 24). Re-live the magic of your NJC year with your fellow classmates as you celebrate your time in Neuchâtel. Friday, join your fellow classmates and alumni celebrants from other years and decades for a complimentary wine and cheese reception, hosted by Bill Boyer, Head of School. Mingle with members of the Swiss Board of Governors and current staff and students.
Saturday, trek with current NJC staff and students on an excursion to nearby Lignières for the 42nd annual “Désalpe”, the parade of elaborately head-dressed cows as they are brought down from the mountains for the winter. An Alumni Dinner will follow featuring cured meats, cheese fondue, fruit salad and a glass or two of local wine with your classmates overlooking Neuchâtel. For a detailed itinerary and hotel information, and to register for Homecoming, visit www.njc.ch/alumni/events/homecoming/
Fêtes Across Canada
If making a trip to Neuchâtel is not possible, and if you are a university student or young professional living in or nearby any of the following cities, please consider attending one of our annual Fêtes Across Canada events. We plan to host parties in Vancouver, Calgary, Kingston, Toronto, Guelph, Waterloo, London, Montreal and Halifax on the Friday night of Fête des Vendanges (Friday, September 22, 2017). Please join us!
For a nominal cover fee, young alumni are invited to spend an evening together for a chance to reminisce with old friends, meet new alumni from other years and win some NJC swag! Registration for this event includes drink tickets, appetizers and giveaways. Stay tuned for more details! Registration opens August 4, 2017. Visit www.njc.ch/alumni/events/fete-across-canada/
for details.
Sometimes former teachers stop by too!
