Ms. Adriaanse’s national and international experiences bring
a diverse educational leadership direction to the Neuchâtel setting, and her talent and passion for Guidance and University Placement make her perfectly suited for her roles at NJC. Ms. Adriaanse feels privileged to play a role at this critical stage for NJC students who are making plans for their post-secondary destinations and futures. Her guiding principle is to use her expertise to assist students in making university decisions that are best suited to their talents and interests—all while inspiring them to consider new possibilities. I have been able to still stay organized and on top of school work all while travelling weekend after weekend and experiencing different cultures all over Europe. This is all so incredibly useful and fundamental for university life because it requires even more independence and self-awareness, which is why everything that we have gained from NJC will follow us wherever we go. We have a full understanding of the world around us, we have travelled the world by ourselves and we have thrived when new challenges have presented themselves. I have also learned some very important life skills, organization being the biggest one. By having to juggle a very busy schedule of homework and travel you really have to be organized. By having so much to do in so little time this year, I think that university will be a walk in the park.
