NJC CANADIAN OFFICE DIRECTORS
Mrs. Dayle Leishman, Parent ’15, ’18
Director of Canadian Operations
BA Honours University of Toronto | Criminology and Sociology
Mrs. Leishman joined the staff of Neuchâtel Junior College in 1993 and manages all operations of the Canadian office with a special focus on communications, financial management and administration. She is a firm believer in providing quality and timely service to all NJC constituents and works closely with parents from enrollment through to graduation. Mrs. Leishman enjoys accompanying
the new students to Switzerland for their orientation trip and then following their transformation as the school year progresses. She also enjoys participating in alumni activities and events where she is able to reconnect with hundreds of past students and witness the remarkable lives they are leading. As an avid skier, she spends winter weekends on the slopes with her family.
Ms. Brenda Neil, NJC ’90
Director of Admission
BA Honours University of Guelph | English and French MBA University of Guelph
Ms. Neil was born in Montreal and grew up in Southern Ontario. One day in
early 1989, her Aunt proposed to her parents that they consider sending her to
a school called Neuchâtel Junior College. After stepping onto that plane, her life changed in ways that she would never have imagined before. While at NJC, she travelled to over 14 countries, seeing the world and her future from her new, independent point of view. Following graduation, Ms. Neil earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts with a major in English and a minor in French followed by an MBA. She has since dedicated her career to the promotion of that which she truly believes in – independent school education. From 1998-2002, Ms. Neil served as Admission Counsellor for Neuchâtel Junior College, and, after a decade as
The Country Day School’s Director of Communications, in 2012, she returned ‘home’ to NJC to serve as the Junior College’s first Director of Admission. Ms. Neil considers it rewarding to convey the virtues of an extraordinary educational experience that is so positively life changing. Her own Neuchâtel experience ignited her understanding of herself, the world, and her never-ending sense of adventure.
Ms. Sarah Morison, NJC ’91
Director of Advancement BA The University of Ottawa
Ms. Morison has been working in fundraising and advancement for over 15
years and has helped to raise millions for the arts, education and social justice initiatives. She is grateful to have worked with numerous talented and interesting people including Canadian artists Michael Snow and Michael Ondaatje. Since
her reunion with NJC as a member of staff in the Spring of 2016, she has been flooded with wonderful memories of her time as a student living in Colombier with Mme De Chambrier, but her favourite memory is of a moonlight ski in Zermatt! Ms. Morison is excited to have joined the NJC staff and looks forward to connecting with fellow Alumni and the NJC Community at large. She believes that NJC’s success in advancement will be spurred by the fact that Neuchâtel Junior College has an inspiring story to tell. Her expertise in fundraising will aid the College in building the support necessary to protect the exceptional legacy of NJC.
