TUITION, FEES AND GUIDELINES

Enrollment Deadline and Incentive
Successful candidates who apply by the November 29, 2019 and February 7, 2020 application deadlines are eligible to secure admission to the Junior College by confirming enrollment by the prescribed enrollment deadline. Families with questions are invited to contact the Director of Admission.
All successful candidates who enroll by their prescribed enrollment deadline will benefit from an enrollment incentive to be applied to Installment 2, as follows:

Sundry Expenses*
Campus Store (apparel, supplemental school supplies)
Advanced Placement Examinations (if student chooses to sit for optional AP examinations)
SAT Examination (if student chooses to sit for optional SAT tests) Courier Charges
Various Day Trips, Outdoor/Sporting Activities which are above and beyond those included in tuition fees
* Sundry expenses are charged to the student’s sundry account. The account is established according to the sundry deposit schedule listed above. Any balance over 20 CHF remaining on the student’s sundry account will be refunded following the final sundry account reconciliation in the summer after graduation.

Outlined here is a guideline for budgeting the costs associated with a full academic year at NJC. Three mandatory trips are included in the tuition fee of 56,000 Swiss Francs, so no matter which additional trips students choose, they already have a good measure of travel ahead. Students may supplement their experience by choosing from the list of optional school trips and organizing independent travel excursions.
Optional travel is optional! It is rare for a student to go on every trip; instead, they choose from a wide variety of local excursions, trips integrated with the curriculum and others that pique their interests. It is common for students to select one Model UN competition in addition to the school-organized trips that meet their interests and budgets. For the December break, students must return home for the holidays or participate in the WE service trip in Kenya.
Independent travel is very cost-effective for students because they are able to travel in small groups and by train and stay in reputable,
