Page 36 - End of an Era During Covid-19

This year’s Relay for Life was obviously very different than
years past. Usually Relay for Life is held at the Ray at De-
Paul. This year it was held online via Facebook. Relay has

been a big part of my collage career and this really was no
different. At this year’s relay I was the top fundraiser and

raised over my goal of $1000. I celebrated my mom being a
survivor of melanoma for one and a half years. I also remem-
ber a loss of a loved one. My good friend Anthony passed

away this past October. He was a student at DePaul and was
also a part of Relay for Life with me. We made a video to

celebrate and remember his life.
