Background
This Book displays how my life changed being home my last quar-
ter at DePaul University because of Covid-19. I found out during
finals week winter quarter that my last quarter at DePaul was going
to change. I decided to document my experience being quarantined
and wright a few journal entries to express my felling on it all. Be-
fore this all went down, I was living in a two-bedroom apartment in
Lakeview, going to classes and to work. Now I am living at my par-
ents’ house in the suburbs and doing everything from my laptop.
This book is divided into three sections. The first being panic and
hope. When the world began to realize how senior Coronavirus was
there was a lot of panic. Stores were running out of food and toilet
paper. We needed stay in our homes and if we did have to leave
you need a mask and had to stay 6 feet away from everyone. Even
though there was mass panic all over the world there was also so
much hope. People were putting up hearts on their windows, writ-
ing in chalk on their driveways, and putting sign in windows. The
second section, Enjoying the Little Things, is about how I started
find joy in other new things. I took more walks and noticed all the
flowers beginning to bloom in the spring. I also had better meals
and more quality family time. The last section of this book displays
my personal loos. I had a lot planned for my last quarter senior year.
I was supposed to have my last formal and walk at graduation.
However, being quarantined meant none of that could happen. So, I
made the best of it and documented it in this book.
Hope you enjoy and learn a little something!
