Your task : Watch the video Task 6 and write a recap into your notebook. Then check the correction and fill
in your What I learned Box with the new vocabulary and copy the correction sheet MEMO.

AUDIOVISUAL COMPREHENSION STRATEGIES

 PREDICT and THINK about what you already know about the story or topic.
ANTICIPATE what you might watch in the video. READ the title !

 LISTEN to the document several times and make pauses.

 IDENTIFY the voices, the sounds and noises.

 WRITE down words you hear. Take notes.

 PAY ATTENTION to the visual elements to understand. Use your eyes, as well as your

ears !

 ASK « What is the document mainly about ? » (eg. who , what, when, where)

 LISTEN again for more detail.

 DECIDE how the information you’ve understood is connected.
