discuss and implement the approved suggestions during the June 12, 2019 board
meeting. In all efforts to have as many student voices driving the change and
implementation of this transformation, please encourage students to participate in
upcoming surveys, focus groups, and media communications the topics surrounding the
Student Codes of Conduct Revision Process. Announcements are forthcoming this
month. All students are encouraged to actively participate in this process. One of the
many goals is to update, revise, or remove language that does not support our students’
growth and/or the vision and mission of the “Teaneck Advantage”. Currently, the
committee is seeking to add 5 student members, giving the committee 50% student
representation and advocacy. All grade levels are strongly encouraged to participate.
