ACTING CLASSES
While the recent pandemic may have put most live the- atre performances on hold, that doesnʼt mean that your acting training has to come to a full stop! Were you active in your high schoolʼs theatre department and want to continue your training? Are you someone who has never set foot on a stage, but would love to try it for the first time? All levels of acting experience are wel- come! Join Professor Grayson for this Fall semester of Acting 1! The format for this class will be “Face to Face”, however it will be taught in tandem with Acting 2. This means that youʼll meet Mondays on campus for the in-person portion and then youʼll work Wednesdays online. Youʼll discover commonly used acting terms, delve into script analysis techniques and learn about action choices while working on monologues and part- nered scene work. Youʼll end the semester by preparing an audition package that you can take with you out of the class and onto future auditions!
